We see this pigeon on the same bit of the Royal Mile all the time. Magnus has dubbed him 'Steve the Pigeon.' We love him.

The new, improved, even more ridiculously enormous orthotics given to me by my doctor yesterday in an effort gain control of my shin splints. Now even more of my shoes are verboten! I guess this season I'll be sporting the new 'Gout Chic' footwear range.

This is a photo of our old camera (out of warranty!), the trusty HP Photosmart R717, taken by our new camera, the sleek and sexy Canon IXUS 80. Behold the massive screen injury. We will keep the old workhorse as a backup should the new golden boy fall into trouble.

This was the last photo I took with my old camera before it suffered major screen injury, may it rest in peace. This is the amazing sunset above London Road last night on our way to Vicki's birthday drinks in Leith. I took this photo, and popped the camera back into my little clutch bag, where it got brutally assulted by the other contents of the bag. The suspects include my mobile phone, my keys, and a handful of pub shrapnel that I was too jolly to remember to put into my coin purse. Suspiciously, we had only spoken last week about getting a new camera, so I had already done my online research and picked one out...

This was my very first amigurumi, who now lives on Kiki's bench at work. He likes to pose with conservation tools in a nonchalant manner.

Robin Hood Prince of Thieves.... so crap it deserves to be thrown in the gutter and run over many times.

We often see this man on our walk to work in the morning. He drives up in a brown car, gets out and puts on his brown hat and brown jacket. He opens up the back of the car, and out pops five brown dogs. They are all beautifully trained working dogs that react to his whistles, and this is him putting them through their routine.
