My colleague Davie and I had to put up loads of this heavy orange sheeting up to protect the books from the leaks over the weekend. Damn rain!!

We were on the way to deal with MORE flood books, and were stuck behind this van in traffic.

There was a small flood in the building next door to us today - conservators to the rescue! It is very important to dry wet books out as quickly as possible to prevent them from getting mouldy.
