"paper repairs"?

Is a conservator the same as a conservationist?

I'm really intrigued by what you do... how did you get into it?

... not sure if I worded that well - I am intrigued because it sounds very cool, so wanted to make sure you knew I was posting those questions with a positive curiosity! :)

I appreciate the interest! There is a difference: conservationist does environmental conservation - I am a book/paper conservator. I've always been a huge book nerd, so it was an easy career choice for me! I studied conservation at Camberwell College of Arts in London, and have worked in libraries and archives since.
