Ok, so it kind of feels like I'm stalking this band Broken Records. I'm not, really! But we found out they were supporting this band Okkervil River (sweaty lead singer above) at the Oran Mor in Glasgow, and decided to go spur-of-the-moment (thanks to a good few inhibition-lowering beers with some very lovely company in the afternoon). We congratulated ourselves on our reckless spontaneity, ended up really enjoying the gig, and got home way past our bedtime. And did you know that Burger King does surprisingly decent bean burgers? And that Burger King is the only place to get food at Queen Street Station at 11pm on Sunday night? Very useful facts, indeed.
